Revenue & reservations manager

We’re on the lookout for a commercially sharp, innovative, and inspiring Revenue & Reservations Manager to join The Hendrick, Smithfield, A Tifco partner hotel – one of Ireland’s most dynamic hotel groups.
Based in Smithfield you’ll lead revenue strategy for the property. Your mission? To drive revenue performance, create winning pricing strategies, and identify new commercial opportunities that put our hotel ahead of the market. To manage day-to-day and group reservations ensuring timely responses to enquiries to drive business into the hotel.

what you’ll do

· Own and deliver revenue strategies that hit and exceed budgets across the hotel.
· Oversee forecasting, budgeting and reporting with accuracy and impact.
· Lead the reservations functions in the hotel, ensuring systems, processes, and standards are best-in-class.
· Partner with the GM and others to embed a strong revenue culture in the property.

Duties and responsibilities

Revenue Management:

· Developing and implementing revenue management strategies across all channels.
· Analysing market trends, competitor activity, and historical data to optimise pricing and inventory.
· Forecasting and reporting on performance, providing actionable insights to senior management.
· Collaborating closely with sales & marketing and operations teams to drive revenue initiatives.
· Monitoring and optimising revenue management systems, digital distribution and online presence for maximum revenue impact.

Reservations:

· Manage day to day reservations for the hotel.
· Ensure all reservations are correctly entered, confirmed, and guaranteed.
· Monitor same-day arrivals, amendments, and cancellations.
· Manage all OTA platforms to ensure clear pricing and strategies are in place.
· Assisting with reservations training and uptraining of reception team.

Groups:

· Manage the Group Reservation function ensuring that all groups are quoted in a timely manner (24-hour turn-around) followed-up, confirmed and contracted, payment collected and handed over to Operations.
· Ensure that every enquiry is tracked and followed up using the tools provided and ensure that there is relevant documentation of all communication with clients.
· Ensure that all groups are entered into Opera correctly with relevant notes, traces and rates.
· To co-ordinate in advance with hotel operations any information/queries which concerns them in relation to a group.
· Manage all payment and billing information for each group, working with Front Office and Accounts
· Complete weekly & monthly group reports necessary.

Must have requirements to be considered:

· Previous experience in Hotel Revenue Management & Reservations/Senior Front Office Role with extensive knowledge of Opera PMS and Microsoft Excel
· Strong analytical skills with proficiency in revenue management systems and reporting tools.
· A professional manner and a great attitude towards providing high levels of customer service
· A willingness to look at new opportunities to improve efficiency, work better, improve customer experience and drive business.
· Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
