The Comedy Cellar
Ireland’s oldest club is often packed with seasoned comedy fans, and it’s no surprise. Resident MC Sharon Mannion ensures a fantastic nights comedy is in store. Located in the International Bar on Wicklow st. Commonly known as “The International Comedy Club” for this reason.
The International Comedy Club is home to four different comedy evenings. You will find lots of laughs here from Tuesday to Sunday, with a special mention to the Comedy Cellar on Wednesday nights.
Cherry Comedy
A well known Wexford Street venue, Whelan’s, hosts the Cherry Comedy Club every Monday night. Headlining comedians leave the audience in stitches each night and still leave them with an appetite for comedy as they await the next act.
You will not find a better night out than this excellent comedy club with a ticket price of just €8 and a real intimate comedy experience.
The Comedy Crunch Club
Outstanding comedians and comedy lovers unite in this unique venue just off Dame Street. You will not find a more budget-friendly comedy club, there is no cover charge and there is free Ice-Cream mid show!
We would certainly recommend queueing up from 8pm, when the door open 15 minutes later, you will not get a seat! There are a number of great bars around the area for a drink, or come back for a Cocktail at the Hendrick Bar.
Laughter Lines
This monthly comedy night is a brilliant start for the curious newcomer to the comedy scene. On the last Wednesday of each month, the Duke hosts Laughter Lines. Known as one of the best pubs in town, the Duke offers a free beer on entry to all ticket holders.
At every show, players improv sketches, scenes, jokes and maybe even a tune or two for the audience and create an unforgettable night for all involved.
Craic Den Comedy Club
The Workman’s Club comedy nights runs five nights a week from Tuesday to Saturday. Giving a platform to newcomers to the comedy scene while still delivering a fantastic night to the audience.
If you fancy yourself as a joker, try out the Craic Den comedy course. You’ll learn writing, timing, stage presence, comedy and improv along with how to deal with the infamous heckling.
In Stitches Comedy Club
With three venues under one name, In Stitches rarely stays in situ. Between Peadar Kearney’s, Workman’s Club and a well known Wicklow Street venue this comedy club offers a night for every comedy lover.
In Stitches offer laughs seven nights a week, with quality Irish comedians being front and centre of many shows, along with up and coming guests.
3Arena
Both international and home grown talented comedians bring their laugh a minute tours to Dublin City Centre, albeit in less in a less intimate venue to many of the famous comedy venues above. The 3Arena is a 13,000 seater venue, with a genuine warmth for comedy gigs.
